El dilluns 28 d’agost, Felanitx celebr\u00e0 la festa de Sant Agust\u00ed, el seu intercessor i protector (la patrona \u00e9s Santa Margalida). Les celebracions religioses se celebraren al Convent del Sant. Aquest temple, des de la desamortitzaci\u00f3, \u00e9s dioces\u00e0.<\/p>\n

El diumenge 27, i en un dia marcat pel mal temps, es pogueren cantar Completes amb la Coral de Felanitx i hi participaren tamb\u00e9 els Cavallets, d’origen agustini\u00e0; el 28, a l’Eucaristia solemne, la Coral cant\u00e0 la missa del P. Aul\u00ed i els Cavallets ballaren el ball de les Esses com oferta.<\/p>\n

Enguany predic\u00e0 el P. Jes\u00fas Miguel Ben\u00edtez, rector de la Comunitat d’agustins de la Mare de D\u00e9u dels Socors de Palma acompanyat de membres de la seva Comunitat. En la seva homilia destac\u00e0: \u00abTingueu per segur que els agustins sempre hem recordat que aqu\u00ed hi ha una petjada d’un passat de fraternitat, de lliurament en el servei pastoral i el reconeixement d’aquesta her\u00e8ncia d’haver quedat el Sant Bisbe de Hipona, el nostre Pare, unit a la devoci\u00f3, l’alegria i la festa de la ciutat de Felanitx. Tingueu sempre per segura la nostra mem\u00f2ria agra\u00efda i el nostre afecte. Amb gran alegria ens va arribar la not\u00edcia de l’estudi que s’est\u00e0 realitzant per a aconseguir la consolidaci\u00f3 i restauraci\u00f3 del vell Convent. \u00c9s obra de molt d’esfor\u00e7 i dedicaci\u00f3 per a preservar la riquesa patrimonial de Felanitx, que necessita el reconeixement i el suport de tota la poblaci\u00f3 i dels responsables de la conservaci\u00f3 del patrimoni hist\u00f2ric i art\u00edstic\u00bb.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
