Hi han assistit la Sra. Ant\u00f2nia Roca, vicepresidenta del Consell i consellera de Cultura, Patrimoni i Artesania, Mn. Francesc Vicens, vicari episcopal per al Patrimoni Hist\u00f2ric i Cultural del Bisbat de Mallorca, el Sr. Albert For\u00e9s, director gerent del Museu Mar\u00edtim de Mallorca, i la Sra. Sandra A. Rebassa Gelabert, t\u00e8cnica en gesti\u00f3 de patrimoni del Bisbat de Mallorca.<\/p>\n<p>Mitjan\u00e7ant l\u2019acord, la Di\u00f2cesi cedir\u00e0 temporalment al Consorci diferents retaulons, perqu\u00e8 siguin exposats al Museu Mar\u00edtim de Mallorca, ubicat al C.C. Ses Voltes de Palma. D\u2019aquesta manera es dona difusi\u00f3 a uns b\u00e9ns culturals que, en moltes ocasions, s\u00f3n desconeguts i inaccessibles per al p\u00fablic. Es tracta d\u2019un fons de retaulons votius (o <em>exvots<\/em>) de tem\u00e0tica marinera: taules pict\u00f2riques de petit format creades com a ofrena a Crist, la Mare de D\u00e9u o algun sant amb motiu de qualque benefici rebut.<\/p>\n<p>El pr\u00e9stec dels retaulons es dur\u00e0 a terme de manera rotativa. Aix\u00ed, anualment, el Bisbat de Mallorca lliurar\u00e0 3 retaulons al Consorci perqu\u00e8 siguin exposats. Els tres primers retaulons s\u00f3n procedents del Santuari del Puig de Maria (Pollen\u00e7a) i podran veure\u2019s als espais expositius del\u00a0 Museu Mar\u00edtim de Mallorca &#8211; Centre Cultural Ses Voltes durant el primer any.<\/p>\n<p>Els tres retaulons que podran veure\u2019s exposats aquest primer any representen diversos episodis mariners: incursions de corsaris o temporals mar\u00edtims, entre d\u2019altres. Tots ells presenten un element en com\u00fa, la imatge de la Mare de D\u00e9u del Puig de Pollen\u00e7a, a la qual s\u2019invoquen per agrair la salvaci\u00f3 en cada un d\u2019aquests moments. Es tracta de diferents exemples de devoci\u00f3 popular fets en senyal d\u2019agra\u00efment per la intervenci\u00f3 de la divinitat. Unes pintures que daten dels segles XVIII i XIX.<\/p>\n<p>Mn. Francesc Vicens ha manifestat en nom del Bisbat que \u201cEstem molt contents de col\u00b7laborar amb el Museu Mar\u00edtim de Mallorca, i que s&#8217;hagin posat en valor els exvots mariners com a mostra de la religiositat de la gent de mar.
